Hate it when I see vids on Instagram of big cats getting hit by cars. There was a video of these wild pigs mullering a leopard after it'd been hit by a car.

On that recent 'Asia' program they were camera trapping persian leopards, they had steep cliffs, bombs, and a population of around two dozen cats to deal with. But they got some cracking pics of different males then eventually a female that looked pregnant, and later got her and the cubs clear as day, so it can be done.

Read a good article the other week by a biologist on trail cams to gather evidence on individual cats.

They are not hard when they first escape I have pics of the one from wales they shot the other year generally if the environment is good they will just disappear after a few months they are also far more susceptible to traffic early days
