.357shooter 1,184
as i stated on the other thread that was locked i have seen one and my mum has seen one.how they got here who knows maybe it is just a few that have escaped from private ownership.as for people who say there are none as they have never seen one ask yourself this how many live rats have tou seen ?.we all know how many rats are in this country but myself i have only seen maybe half a dozen in my 50 plus years.so imagine a top predator that does not want to be seen and can here smell you comming a mile off and that same animal has evolved to be near as damn it invisible untill it strikes, how likely is it that you would see one ?.remember watching that show with one of the wildlife presenters and he was on some mounting somewhere and a big cat was only feet from him and he did not have a fecking clue, very lucky it did not decide to have a go.

It's not comparable though, is it. There is plenty of clear footage of every other animal in the UK, (including woodcock) but not big cats. There are meant to be only five to six hundred Capercaillie in Scotland. Yet, there is lots of very clear footage of their existence, but none of big cats. Note, that is roughly the same number of big cats supposedly in the UK. Those figures were quoted by the big cat "experts", none of which can manage to produce a decent piece of footage. Like anything else. rats, Muntjac deer and all other ilk of animals that most people don't see. Purely because they are not looking.
