It could also be an invention of the Scottish Tourist Board,or misidentification over decades or as you say,it might actually exist?

No, I don't think there's the slightest chance a creature exists that people claim is a plesiosaur. Lol

Maybe bigger than 1 patent but not necessarily both; those wildcat pet things aren't as big as the big cat (cerval is it?) Used to make them and I know hybrids in birds aren't normally bigger. Seen this alot in the last year or so whilst learning more about BOP and seeing lots of hybrids

mitre 154
Lock Ness is a tourist attraction that's all people pay to go there plus they come far as usa to see it the Ness can be found but Jeremy wade was on TV a few months ago they reckon the lock Ness is a big eel from dna tests
Pardus 873
The liger being bigger than either parent is not being because of hybrid vigour. The female tiger doesn't have the same growth restrictive genes that a female lion has to counteract the growth encouraging genes of the male lion.
eastcoast 4,346
Jeremy Wade... I enjoy his programmes. He investigates ancient legend to account for people going missing around the world. Catches a fresh water fish no bigger than a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and the ancient myth has been solved. They just kill each other and chuck the body in the water.

Pardus 873
We are back to hypotheticals, I mean where is the slightest bit of evidence of hybrid big cats here in the UK, absolutely zero.
mackem 29,026
Now that we are discussing the topic as adults, does anyone seriously think that in 49 years the UK has an adapted sub-species of leopard that have "shrank" to evolve to the British countryside?

No, the suggestion is just pure fantasy IMO.
