Just pointing out the far fetched evolution claims.

I so wanted it to be a big cat but in that pic I think it is just a big cat if ye get me haha

Yeah, to be honest, to me it looked like a fairly large ish moggie, NOTHING like a main coon, as greb suggested.

So, even with his newfound cat 'specialist' book, I think he's still getting it wrong!!  lol

By the way, I have the same cat book that he has lol.

Question……..why would a cat evolve in the UK at all, leopards are already the supreme predator, and why “evolve” into a smaller species?

Half truth, it doesn't occur that rapidly in species which have relatively long generation times, if you did further research you'd see that this only possible in fast reproducing species like bacteria, viruses, and insects.

You have the same book, the book doesn't mention any domestic cats, if you look closely, the tail is fairly bushy at the ends and perhaps the ears have a point on them, normal house cats don't have pointed ears and it does look bigger than a normal moggy.

They wouldn't, he's just screen shotted a random quote, evolution wouldn't happen in such a short period for something like a big cat and like you say, why would it, there's an abundance of medium to large sized  prey in the UK, it's not like they would have to survive on rodents.

I was interested in the theory of evolution by natural selection occurring in the UK in the 49 years since the DWAA came in,what’s caused a species to shrink?
