Looking forward to seeing how she does on the lamp, if I remember some of your posts she was a squirrel assassin and was climbing trees in order to get them. Or I have you mixed up with someone else of here. Did she hit wire mate ? Quote Link to post
paulus 26
Looks well proportioned and well balanced, I don't know if yours is the same but the one i had was two different dogs, At home i only had to look at her the wrong way and she winged like a cnut but out in the field i could grab her by the scruff and chuck her over an hedge without so much as a whimper Lol Quote Link to post

She never seemed bothered when injured. i can remember taking her the vets with a tear in the shoulder that need stitching after she ran into an old tin sheet whilst ferreting some rough ground next to a deer pen, The vet an old Chinese lady wanted to give her anaesthetic injections prior to stitching her up, I disagreed, after a couple of minutes of arguing she agreed to try it without anaesthetic, she stood on that table whilst the vet put a dozen stitches in, without making a single sound. I could never stop my old lurcher once the red mist came down, did she bark while chasing? Sorry for all the questions mate but I'm heading the same way not pure whippet but a lot of whippet blood in the mix so to speak. Quote Link to post

So 2 1/8ths could produce a yapper do you think it comes from the beddy, I thought it was a nervous thing when on larger quarry. Cheers Quote Link to post

Cheers every one has opinion on yapping, it can be caused by entering too young, overmatching, frustration etc, my own opinion is even after careful entering they can still yap, I believe some do some don't it's that simple, luck of the draw Quote Link to post
Chaff 3,622
Thanks Fred, and good luck with the lamping, I need to pick myself up another lamp but I'm not a fan of these led ones. Quote Link to post
