Recommended Posts

See there's a programme on later this week with that Greg Wallace looking at and eating this new lab grown meat..

I'm not religious but by God is that an abomination...

It'll always seem repulsive to us , but to the younger generation,  it'll just be normal.

I eat more game meat , than shop bought meat . Older people are mainly fine with it , but some younger people are really freaked out that I've killed something , then I eat it. Mind you , some young people can't wrap their head around the fact that I'll get up at 3am to go walking the fields with a gun.

A few years ago at work , one of the guys pulled an apple from a tree , wiped it on his t shirt , and started to eat it . We were working with a young agency lad ( I'm guessing 19 yrs old ) , who was totally freaked out by it . He said , " you minging xxxx , that's just come from a tree"  . Myself and my mate couldn't believe this kids reaction , and almost pissed ourselves laughing at him . This kid , that's old enough to be classed as an adult , had no idea that apples came from trees that grow outside , and that they're the same apples that you buy in the shops . If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes , I wouldn't have been able to believe it .

Probably no worse than a lot of factory farmed meat these days pumped full of f**k knows what.

Theres plenty of good organic meat if you know where to look downsouth, theres no excuses to go along with bills lab meat,i get meat from a good organic farm, its more money but the meat is excellent.

Its not just about the fake meat, its about bio diversity,an what the animals do for the land not to mention there plan to get rid of all farms an take everyone out of the countryside an zone it off,an put us all in a pod "smart city" like sardines, were we will be monitored 247 with facial recognition, nah f**k that craic

I know that as my pal rears organic chickens, pigs and turkeys. My stepson also runs an upmarket butchers that stock quality local source organic produce. But many people dont have the opportunity to get quality organic meat and its surprising what can be labeled to make you think youre buying something that you're not.And then theres the people who dont even care and just want whats cheapest
