So, its well known that your hair will grow faster if it is cut....but HOW does your body know its been cut???

OK then, while we're being inquisitive, why, when you get older, as I am, your hair falls out of your head, but puts on a spurt up your nose, and out of your ears :search:

and when you pull hair out at the root (say for example with tweezers, and say for example like the hair you get round your nipples :whistle: or er other places :whistle: :11: ) how come if you yank it out at the root and it hurts like hell and makes your eyes water, a week or so later it bloody grows back :11: :11:

It's also a little known fact that the hairs around your arsehole are the longest in the human body, they are connected all the way to the eyelashes, that's why when you catch one under your fingernail when wiping your arse, it makes your eyes water.
