paulus 26
When i passed my test a long time ago, Getting insurance was easy and not expensive, I just walked into the brokers shop and walked out insured a short time later insured. Here's something to try, Go on a comparison site, put your car details in then try it with your actual no claims and then, No, No claims, mine was actually cheaper with no, no claims discount and an additional driver than it was with my no claims discount. It's another rip off... Not helped by all the whiplash claims etc but they'll squeeze everyone for all they can get, and they've complicated the insurance numbers used to be 1-20 now mine is 34/46 whatever that means Makes you think doesn't about the no claims being a farce

The missus bumped her car broke the back windscreen and dented a panel , they wrote it off, said repair was 4.5k . She paid a premium for courtesy car but small print said if one is available, which it wasn't , can't get hold of anyone on a phone taking me 7 weeks to get that car back and fix it myself. We were both with same insurance but different under writers, I'm cancelling but don't think it'll make much difference to service and cost tbh.

My little car got sideswiped on the ice whilst it was parked up. Other party fully liable. Happened on 13th December didn't go in till 30th May - still in there. I've got BMW X2 that's £288 per day on a normal hire but lower rate for insurance claims. All ripping us off Cheers, D.
