Funny how quick the Media was to jump on the story and praise the old boy at the start?...

And now this....

They just love digging the dirt. Media is worst thing ever for everything

The Charity Commission first opened a case into the charity in March 2021 over its accounts, which showed in its first year just £160,000 was given away in charitable grants, while £240,000 was spent on management and fundraising costs.

The watchdog expanded it to a statutory inquiry in June 2022 after becoming concerned about arrangements between the charity and a company linked to Sir Tom's daughter, Hannah Ingram-Moore, and her husband Colin.

In the charity's first year, more than £54,000 was reimbursed to two companies controlled by the Ingram-Moores, called Club Nook Limited and Maytrix Group Limited.

Concerns were also raised about the trustees' decision-making and how the charity was governed.
