We stayed away while back working in Penzance .Sunday afternoon 4 of us drove down to the b+ b Id booked .Half way there a chap  Id asked to come with us ,a  chippy of 60 years plus rang to say he was now free and could he join us .I was a chippy short so I got one of the  lads to ring  the b+b to ask for another room .No good ,all gone .The lad on the phone did a bit of ringing round and said everywhere’s full ,one last call .Gets off the phone and says that’s sorted and I thought no more of it .Worked Monday then Pete arrives that evening stressed as usual .Needs to chill  that one tbh ,lol.The lad who’d booked his room gave him the address and off he goes .We are just about to start eating our evening meal at a nice pub nearby when in comes Pete for his ,feckin  savage,lol. .He’d only been booked into an old people’s home on respite .The table was in  hysterics ,Pete finally sees the funny side after a few pints then I drive him to his digs ,lol.Yep an old people’s home .

Wasn’t so funny when I got the bill for 4 nights though .Should have known better cos the lad who booked is a right joker and so straight faced with it .
