I had a billy goat in my allotment when I was a kid it smelled bad no way I would eat a mature billy but saying that I wont eat mature roe/fallow bucks they smell strong I will only eat the yearlings. I ate plenty of goat when I lived in the Middle East. It was as available as lamb in the shops. Cheers. They are still going strong, its therapeutic sitting watching them. The only ones I ate were kids ,but I utilised every goat I shot,...the kids are amazingly good,a few nanny's were good as well,very sweet tasting the younger they were 1 Quote Link to post
