Bangersanmash 3,487 Posted June 27, 2023 Report Share Posted June 27, 2023 Well I'm pleased with what's turned out a good season for the first round of canaries the Timbrado's. I always let the young pairs have the first round that I'm using as feeders. Just to makesure the birds are going to be good feeders , not just come off the eggs half way through sitting or maybe end up not feeding the young. You just never know with young birds from the year before. A wouldn't like to put some pied eggs under a young hen without knowing if she's going to be a decent parent.
