4.5pcp to 5.5pcp

Hallo everyone

I have a hatsan 4.5pcp airgun that I want to convert to 5.5, is it possible??

Unless you are very good with a Black & Decker or the barrel is interchangeable then I suspect you are looking at a problem.

Will the only problem be the barrel?? Or will there be other problems aswell??

Who knows as you don't mention a model, anyway, valving MAY be different, probably barrel band, who knows about sights, and the magazine of course.

In simple terms, unless the gun itself offers a fairly straightforward barrel replacement I would forget it.

If you really want a bigger cal, sell it and buy one, probably a much better and cheaper option!!

In the UK, Hatsan are not an expensive gun in fact they are very much an economy based gun and not worth messing about with. It would be cheaper and much more effective to simply buy another Hatsan in .22 as the task would need good gunsmith to carry out the work, just not worth the expense.
