building some block kennels, hopefully 4 bays.

 Get a good drain connection first, I then had it rendered, topped the pens off with iron railings, insulated bedding boxes, very low maintenance, a coat of paint every spring and there as good as new

Had a block of 4 built for the terrier's in galvanized 3/4  panels mesh tops and mesh door panels..cost me £680 with the roof...easy to unbolt and move around the configuration 1 big run 2/4 if you need to or if you move

Iv gone wooden for now , dogs only go in it when we are out for the day they sleep in the kitchen and kennel doors always open if we are home as garden complete fenced off , there’s a shed on the end aswell

The only problem  with block kennels you cannie move them need to start from scratch again

How big is the floor area there Daniel,per terrier run,I'm doing similar myself

1200 x 1200 ,i used the 30 litre blue barrels for kennels,made a bench on top so they can stretch out and catch the sun

Hi lads got the concrete base down on Tuesday. How soon can I start the block work on it?

I over engineered mine I put mesh and 6” concrete in my base, I poured it on a weekend and blocked it the weekend after, on site they are pouring footings and brickies are on them a couple of days after
