Greyman 28,286
Son has a Vauxhall combo van it’s the one with the 17 Isuzu lump in it, trouble being the 13 cdti is the more popular model and I,m after sticking a new gearbox in it for him this weekend so my query to the better informed is are the two running the same box. And is it interchangeable cheers in advance
dogmandont 9,805
Drove a 1.7 dti for 11 years brilliant little vans, wouldn't of thought they'd share the same gearbox with the 1.3 but I could be wrong.

That’s right, the f23 was fitted in the old vectra’s and Astra’s, f17 was fitted in the corsa’s zafira’s, I think the bell housing is different, I seem to remember it’s where the starter motor mounts

mC HULL 12,383
i’m sure some had f17 boxes on the 1.7 i was meaning an f17 or 23 can have differnet bell housing so not all f17 are the same like for like you can always swap the bell housing over but more work and the sub frame shite the vauxhalls lol

I’ve just mentioned it to my mate he said the drive shafts are different, the selector is different and depending on what vehicle it has come from depends what bell housing is fitted, so in short as Chid said it won’t fit
