Thank you mate

Me and the Mrs were killing this morning, Isla was desperate to be down the front, meant 5 and half hours stood in one spot.. no good for my back! Lol

They both love their music, Fin is doing music production at College, he enjoys it loads more than the 2 sciences he has to do... I try and encourage without bring a pushy parent mate, they're good kids, nice manners etc so happy with that.

Yeah its a 1200 waverunner... got it for a steal off a company we were working with on the Hydrogen systems, company is called Gibbs Amphibians they design and build amphibious crafts, the jet ski was there safety vessel...they closed there midlands factory and we had a bit of a supermarket sweep up.there, jet ski, boat engine and a lot of office gear...

The jet ski gets a fair bit of use through the summer...

Sound like nice well adjusted kids you've done good mate parenting should come natural but it didnt to me and i messed up 90% of it but always said if there was one thing i got right it was that they knew their manners i could take my boy anywhere and he wouldnt embarrass me.

I remember those old Waverunners they were very stable skis ive still got a few of the old Kawasaki stand ups from the 80's and a nice modern Yamaha FX over in Cyprus but hitting the water at 60 mph isnt my idea of fun so i old man that one but still chuck the stand ups around a bit, this growing up lark is hard work ?

1st, what great time you had, the fishing looks spot on even though i dont fish, but fresh air , good company, and fresh fish to eat. 2nd  your not old and look in good nick to me, and great family . 3rd   music = them 2 bands are great deff , i like most type music  from 60s up to  say them bands above  etc, now i am old bugger  who 71 in august , yeh deff old to you and your clan, and even that big  bugger Gnasher   who dont like good bands . just bit of info for you regards music , ive started playing the Uke= ukulele being playing 10 months now , ok on it can play few songs from music sheets etc, but carnt play out of my head, can play chords no prob , but getting lyrics  out with right chord not easy, ask most people that play , and they the same , so  take hat to anybody that can get up on a stage that can do both. i ve just started the acoustic  guitar as well, had  6 lessons , doing not bad getting the chords now, it cracking guitar  6 string mid size , nice and light , just started playing (Get Back ) from the Beatles , my wife said it not bad, for 6 weeks , it harder than the Uke   4 strings  on a uke mine the Tenor one,  nearly the biggest  one, i had this one because ive got quite big hands/ fingers , so bit easier  to get the chords. if your kids like music , let read my tread on this post, they might want to play instrument  maybe later in life .   Ray:good:

Great stuff Ray...keep at it with the guitar, it comes in the end..I played for 20 years in local bands, had some great times...my lad plays guitar, my girl plays a bit of piano...I'm not a good enough player to be a good teacher, but started them off... they are both mad for the music mate!

Singing and playing takes a bit of time abd practice, your rhythm hand needs to be solid else you go out of time...it will come in the end mate

It ended up expensive anyway as she properly copped the hump so i took her to see Micky Flannagan at the O2 the next week with a " lets do something we both like " attitude ?

Manners maketh a man...or so they say... I tend to agree, I think basic manners and a bit of confidence gets you where you want in life...I dont think parenting comes natural to any of us mate, I had a bit of a wake up call when Fin was a baby and Mrs was pregnant with Isla, I had to change a bit to keep the family, coming from an unusual upbringing it was important to me so I made the effort...ego and bullshit had to be put to one side lol
