Bought a new Tikka rimfire yesterday after damaging my CZ beyond repair. ‘Tis a thing of beauty Put a Hawke Vantage 4-16x50 rimfire subs scope on it and a Stalin mod Zeroed last night at 50yds

Barrel may need a few shots yet, but .22lr doesn't usually take much to settle in, I would certainly suggest trying an assortment of ammo just the same.  I would be expecting Tikka to be pretty good, arguably they should match/exceed CZ for accuracy, even though CZ produces some excellent results.

My CZ is running more accurately than that, an old zeroing session, 60 yards with .22LR and 100 yards with HMR, Both CZ.

I have no need or desire to change my CZ22LR, if I did, then I would almost certainly get another CZ.  But I have to admit, Tikka would be a strong contender if I felt like spending a little more!

My Tikka T1x is cracking, I found the RWS gave the best results by far although Eley subs were close.  If you look on ebay, you can get a different set of grips to change the angle of the pistol grip and also if yo like a fuller shape to the forend, again you can get an extra clip on forend. I have fitted both and find it a far better comfort for both and it takes only a few minutes to fit them.

Even a numpty like me can fit both in less than 10 mins................honest DB.
