Very simple Jiggy…..the 5-0 are suffering from an obesity and diabetic tsunami, which has destroyed their ability to walk backwards at pace….the poor wozzer felt he would be overtaken by the lady on the zimmerframe and attacked and was therefore in fear of his life, so needed to deploy his taser to subdue the old lady…..

happens in America every day and will happen more now  societal values and norms and people’s rights are being eroded by authoritarianism.

Bad descision by one dick head in a uniform who should be reprimanded and charged with man slaughter IMO. It isn't a reflection on the (Australian?) police force. It's an abuse of power and I can't think of a reason for doing it other than having not shot one in the field before. f***ing joke. Whoever it was, they want locking up for life or in the old days (times I want back) stringing up and stoning.

If the police can carry corporal punishment on their hip nowadays then surely that should be able to be administrated by court aswell? For me, death penalty for anymore than stealing a Mars bar, soon cut 90% of the "criminals".

The problem with arming the police is they all have to have a first time in a real life situation, they are not generally mentally prepared and no amount of training can make someone into something they are not, some years back someone I knew was wanted over a shooting no one had been hurt it was the token gesture sawn off fired through someone’s window as a warning, but when the police tracked down the shooter and burst into the room he was sleeping in naked with a bird 3 of the armed officers promptly threw up and spewed all over the bed, turned out it was there first live situation, but if your feeling that anxious before stepping through the door you could just as easily pull the trigger at the first sign of movement, a bit like the lad in the taxi in London last year,  twitch and your dead
