Later on the class had to do an essay on there interests and mine was about lurchers n going out with the older dogs catching rabbits n hares along with some close calls from farmers etc along with some photos of dogs what they was fed etc, the English teacher ended up liking it n read it out to the whole class to my embarrassment that would never happen these days would it in this snowflake society, its that long ago really as I'm mid 40s now..

Remember doing a history essay on industrial revolution and build up of towns from country population or something like that (rise of mass markets). Managed to get the decline of the drovers and smithfield collies into the essay on the back of plummer fairy tales but think my dad had a good book on old collie types as well.

Not a lot of in fighting on same rat either wasting time. Saying that seen few facebook posts of plummer Irish terrier outcrosses and there the same…obvs see a lot of rats and they’ll move on after a kill not like mine shredding each one while others are bolting.

He was saying Weils disease isn't really an issue out there, also says they cook some of the meat from the muskrats
