You must think I keep bull crosses & run doubled up but you’d be wrong, there’s no bull in my dogs. I’m sure your dogs would show mine a thing or 2 on hares, that’s what they’re bred for it would be strange if they didn’t but when it came to larger edibles they’d be quite a few levels behind.

There’s nothing wrong with that as well, pre ban a purpose bred hare dog shouldn’t be expected to show a purpose bred deer dog up at its own game and vice versa

Mc what is the best dog you've had past or present and how was it bred out of interest.

For me I'd have to say a dog I had called topper I bred him out of a little saluki whippet greyhound I had n used a son of cruiser, I ran him alot but I didn't have quite as much to go at as I do now so he could of been even better possibly

Don’t worry about putting challenges out to people mate 99% of them would never come off anyway, and end of the day if your dogs better or the other lads dogs better what does it really matter, as long as you’re happy with your own just get out and enjoy it

Cruiser was around a 3/4 mate only thing with topper he did suffer a few injuries 

For all out heart stamina n durability n running style I would have to go with the bitch I mentioned earlier the slinky candy x bull saluki the dam of kierens dog, she could a huge work load but never injured but unfortunately I didn't get the same durability in the pup I kept back of her the pup turned out good but was finished early n pet homed..

That’s the trouble isn’t it I didn’t think like that when I was younger but now I’d say durability is the most important quality in a dog. It can have all the talent & heart in the world but if it’s injured regular it’s no good that’s the bottom line

Yes they only have us to please at the end of the day don't they, macs dogs n yours no doubt good at what they do long may you both enjoy it..

dodger id say not much in it between the dog i have now fens bred out a tikka romeo and a double charlie bred bitch  died few year ago at 14 

but the id say the dog i have now from romeo very few get away day or night and he’s a good finisher got everything thing i’d want in a dog

she was a bitch mate i had one litter from her 4 pups i kept 2 one broke it’s leg smashing cover with a dyke behind it 

and the other got on one after the other stopped a few ran about 6 all together he dropped wasn’t right after that kidneys damaged 

me brother in law had a belter but we fall out i had a litter from my dog but i put it across a half bred pups wasn’t of the calibre i needed good direct but no brain
