You best take that down or Sandy will go ape shit ?

Experience is key, more they run  the better they get brain wise, definitely  up and  atem but they stay well. Speed wise slower than  a grey but soon leave a whippet.  Fair few lines, some

I can't open it mate ,not on fb but I seen it already, apparently the bloke had a saluki wi him aswell but it ran off an never come back ?

If I had choice of 2 pups n both looked the same but one had flat feet n the other tight n thick I'd pick the latter but iv had a dog with flat feet before n no matter what you did or how much road work they never changed but never had any foot or toe problems so you could be right mac

Hes not. A dog with flat feet (not hare) cant perform to its fullest. They soon begin to suffer and lack form. He probs doesnt understand difference between hare and flat feet anyway. Feet are first contact with the earth. Without feet and earth, no movement would occur at all, so feet are very important and affect everything. They are the tyres for grip and the shock absorbers to take away the trauma of the body being bashed against the earth to propel it along. Thats why they dont like flat feet in armies. The problem is that some good dogs have or should I say are cursed with flat feet. This confuses thick people, because they dont realise the dog would be even better  with proper sprung feet.

The thing is if you have such a good dog then for christs sake dont breed it to a dog with the same fault (if you breed your own) Try to improve on the feet in offspring, and do always look at feet and dont get into denial about them.

I think a lot of earlier dogs were tougher in general, less toe injuries or torn muscles etc, didn’t see many retired young from injury but see it all the time in recent years

I’m no expert on coursing dogs but everything I seen direct out of that Romeo had bad feet, not bad shaped feet but they all suffered from sore nail beds, if it was just 1 or 2 of them then you could say fair enough might be coincidence but I must’ve seen half a dozen out of him that had it, bad genetics in my book I wouldn’t breed out of a dog that carried that on to its pups

The ones I saw had bad mouths as well to be honest wanted to run hares for a week, but might have just been the ones I saw but it did seem to be a running fault through them all

They appear in Greyhounds which are in your dogs, but what you are saying is you have no experience of really flat feet because they dont occur in the dogs you keep (not breed) So everything you have said so far means nothing as usual because you have no experience as usual. You really are a bit thick mate. As far as bad mouths are concerned in saluki types, its simple they are lacking drive. If my dogs turn out with flat feet, lack of drive, gameness or wind then I take them out of the breeding program. Thats something else I believe you only have negative experience of.

Pals of mine seen Romeo run and said he had a bad mouth himself so must come from somewhere, but I’ve not seen him myself so can’t say for certain if he did or not but dogs I seen out of him definitely had bad feet & bad mouths.

You seen many of the dogs in his pedigree run?
