gnasher16 30,063
As far as the ship itself go's a lot of it depends where your cabin is theres pro's and cons it depends what you prefer....a forward facing cabin normally has extra space but dont usually have balconies because of the wind so you'll have nice views but no outside space ( although most will have floor to ceiling windows to compensate )......rear facing cabins normally have a bigger balcony than side facing and watching the long line of churned up water behind can be somewhat mesmerizing.....we went to a wedding on the Arcadia out of Southampton Dock to the Med a few years ago and had a corner cabin with a wrap around balcony that was nice....i like cruises its like a floating village full of fun if you come across people you dont like just f**k them off you're never going to see the whole ship in 2 or 3 weeks we've done Greek Island cruises, the Med etc if your going to go on 1 holiday per year i wouldnt do a cruise as its all eggs in one basket but i think a cruise makes a nice change if you holiday a lot especially amongst a group of friends/couples. Just wondering if anyone has been on a cruise and thoughts on them? Is it the Fjords and Iceland Cruise mate .You’ll love it mate .Take plenty of warm cloths as top deck viewing is a tad icy blast . We did the seven day cruise and tbh I was sceptical about being tied to one place but the scenery is stunning .
