People on the meateater podcast have been raving about it . You hold your phone out with the app open and recording and it will tell you every bird noise around you and identify each bird . If theirs more than one bird it will list them all and when they are making their noise the bird flashes yellow . Good app for those of us that don't know everything

I had a really interesting evening caught all these birds in the app also a common nighthawk never had one of them before and a rare according to the app common firecrest, also see a green woodpecker

Had a good haul today 14 different species I went over to this place in the link below I would normally walk for miles over there but serious thunderstorms this was just hanging the app out of the car

Never heard one mate, where are you ?….had the app in the garden today, it’s accurate, I know all the bird calls but it ID tree sparrow chirruping away which we have a lot of here and I can’t tell the difference in  call between tree and house sparrows ?

I think it would be a good tool especially for kids . Technology has its downfalls but sometimes its pretty amazing . Especially considering its free .

Nice one lad. I used to do a lot of surveys, and knew the sounds of most common bird species. In recent years, I've done very little, and to say I'm a little rusty is an understatement. This app will come in handy, and as you say, great for the kids, cheers?

I’m a little addicted to it now, in the garden have had everything from blackcap, white throat and curlew flying over…..pretty accurate and picked up Tree Sparrow as opposed to House Sparrow……sat out at lunchtime with it and stomach rumbled and up popped ‘Rock Pigeon’ !! …..whatever that is !…..have tried to fool it wit rubbish cuckoo impressions but not having it.

My Mrs put it on her phone on Friday,  and we used it yesterday while we were at our woodland. I must be honest , we both found it absolutely amazing?.
