Very up and down due to the floods, water logged fields and so on. Things should start looking up now that the shooting season's over from a fox control and ratting point of view. Quote Link to post

frost 4 Posted January 31, 2008 Report Share Posted January 31, 2008 Had a terrible season so far with my dogs my merle bitch has been injured several times and my beddie x broke his leg and had to be put down just before christmas so as you can see not the best of luck .Recently got a whippet/greyhound x out of Dave Sleights stock she is only 11 months but showing lots of potential so hopefully touch wood my luck has turnedhave they surpast your exspectations ..or have you had to take a step backwards or have you been plaged with injuries ??????/....ect ect .....i know a few lads who have had some real bad luck with injuries .....or has your season just been steady..... ...... snoopdog 1,256 Posted January 31, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 31, 2008 totally crap, out 4-5 time a week and nothing, seen 4 rabbits the whole season and they just f**ked off as soon as the lamp went on, !!for you lads who have had a bad season ..not because of injury ..but because lack of game you have to go a find it .....i clocked up over 1800 miles just over the xmas hols 2 weeks from scotland the NE lincs allover the country ....and i have plenty off bunnies round where i live ...i would hate to think off how many miles i done over all the season .......theres plenty about just have to go and find it .......now i know not eveybody can drive but theres ways .....belive me if you love it enough you will get good bags of allsorts Quote Link to post
