Irish hate speech law.

1984 here we come, almost no opposition to it from any mainstream parties. Looks like, if a  person is found with "hateful material" , they have to prove their innocence rather than the authorities proving their guilt .

We as ordinary white folk do not have a protected characteristic, these things are for everyone else bar us, thats what it means, black, brown,gay, lesbian,trans ect are protected not us

The main reason  hate speech laws are being brought in is  to prevent people from objection to mass immigration .

Freedom of speech is an interesting area of discourse, pretty much all democratic countries support it but all recognise it has to have limitations for a decent society to self regulate, that society therefore must decide those limitations, it would appear Ireland is doing this and if its society feels this is going to far it needs to act democratically to show it disagreement. 

Right or wrong in this instance the principle of "protection from harm" is fundamental to a free society whilst limiting freedoms of individuals..

No mate you're not getting it, its a 1 way street, this type of stuff is for EVERYONE and EVERYTHING except normal everyday white christian folk
