sandymere 8,263 Posted May 2, 2023 Report Share Posted May 2, 2023 Freedom of speech is an interesting area of discourse, pretty much all democratic countries support it but all recognise it has to have limitations for a decent society to self regulate, that society therefore must decide those limitations, it would appear Ireland is doing this and if its society feels this is going to far it needs to act democratically to show it disagreement. Right or wrong in this instance the principle of "protection from harm" is fundamental to a free society whilst limiting freedoms of individuals..
