What i was never able to get my head around Is. Reptiles are cold blooded, How can a cold blooded reptile move quick enough to be able to fly?

Seemingly most dinosaur species were not cold blooded.

I think it's great Greyman does his thing and doesn't give a f**k about his critics. Carry on carrying on Greyman.

Id trap it and take the cage to Notton Lane with a note saying " ave that soppy bollocks " ?

Feeders have been there years...get the odd rat but they don't last long,  either the cat or the airgun sorts em out ....I find the cover encourages the birds more

Not you as well Ffs .Did none of you actually learn f**k all ,gone through life with head up your piece or what .Reptiles need the sun to warm up after that they are some of the fastest moving creatures on the planet .

Taking in the morning sun any reptile with wings could fly effortlessly ,it’s not hard to imagine is it .

So they don't fly all winter, only when its sunny Lol,

Paul ,you are fairly educated mate .Most reptiles reside in places where winter is just a few degrees less than summer and we would hardly know the difference .When did you last hear of snow in the Amazon ?

Flying reptiles of today is a bit of a misdemeanour in that they glide rather than flap but flight is still flight no matter the mechanics

Lets start by saying the evolution of reptiles to birds is all assumptions based on guesses. 65 million years ago an extinction event occurred that killed off nearly all of the cold blooded creatures on this planet. This is a fact based on evidence,  Now for the guess work, it is believed that one small group of dinosaur's survived because they had developed inter locking scales, like the pangolin of today, These scales trapped air and so insulated them from the cold, But this would mean that they had also become warm blooded, Again the assumption is that these scales then went on to change into feathers.

I thought you only believed in facts mate, There are no hard facts to back this up, only theories and suppositions, Yes animals can adapt to changing environment's but only at a very slow pace, The extinction event was instantaneous, Given the hot humid environment prior to this event, Why would any reptile evolve to become warm blooded as there was absolutely no need for it to do it, There theory of Evolution is based on changes over a very long period and always to gain something that's needed to survive,

Turned into a good interesting topic this after a slow start.
