Yeah, it was deerhound x Wheaton/greyhound. Two of them made the grade that I know of.

I was offered one, but had to decline as I was waiting on a first x deer/grey at the time.

Has she just had her first season charts how did she do has she done much, how old now..

She’s 22 month now, still very immature but I’m happy enough with her.

Ive only ran hares and roe with her, she’s very fast up, and turns well for a 28” bitch, but her strike needs improvement, I’m sure that’ll come with experience. 
I see plenty to work with and I’m looking forward to next season !

I met Anastasia a few times at various coursing meetings with the Deerhound club. She lived & breathed Deerhounds. Also her head kennel man was a bloke called Darren. Both very knowledgeable about the breed. They would quite often travel by train to coursing meetings accompanied by several Deerhounds. Great characters. Atb

I think thats Nora Hartley ? I could be wrong. Theres also quite a good photo of her walking about 9 Deerhounds. Atb
