Been a few years since I seen anyone catch an eel, on the stretch of river where I live, quite a few years actually. I don’t think your a long way from me, the Cotswolds water park and upper Thames are heaving with them mate, I,ve caught enough for a good feed just by putting my landing net in the margins with a handful of trout pellet thrown over it leave for 20 mins and lift it out, there are also lots of commercial pots out on a lot of the pits that can be caught with a spinner and emptied if your that way inclined and can’t be arsed with your own traps Quote Link to post Share on other sites
