mackem 26,869
Ivy Asia Chelsea, the food is perfect, but it’s about more than that,it’s the experience, where else will a samurai warrior greet you with “Konichiwa” as you piss in a urinal?

Looks nice, can’t often go wrong with Asian food in London, you soon go out of business if it’s shit.

It’s Asian fusion, normally I judge an Asian resto in the UK by the amount of Asians eating in it,there’s a Chinese resto near Heathrow called London Hong Kong on the bath road, always packed with Chinese so you know the food is up to spec.Ivy Asia in Chelsea is a little different, not so many Asians but great ambiance and a place to people watch.

I’ve seen that restaurant near Heathrow we nearly went in but drove on in the end. Can’t beat dim sum in a good restaurant

gnasher16 30,217
Too many to list.....the whole dining experience depends on the occasion whether you want Jamie Oliver type food or you're eating because you're hungry but trying new restaurants i find really exciting and if i really like one i'll keep going back....one i liked so much i bought into it so have to keep going back ......but all depends on your mood, who you're with, how much time you have......i reckon ive probably tried 80/90% of the main London restaurants at some time or another but only a handful i'll regularly use.

Scott's is one we love up there mate, eaten there a few times now, good place to sit and people watch as well... Brother went to la gravoche couple of weeks back, said it was great food and Michel Roux was in that night and came out twice to check everything was OK...we've had to cancel there twice due to a bit of ill health... its on the list though.. If I lived in London and had the money I dont think I'd ever cook...the choice from street food to fine dining is amazing....
