Wolfdog91 7,333
Take it most remember my post a whole back about me surprising my dad with getting a hold of a .22mag he'd been wanting for forever. Well not this model in particular just a bolt action mag fed one. Anyhow was I've rat their place today with a repair guy working on their wifi and after he left figured I'd steal it for a bit Unsurprisingly it had been sitting in the closet since he brought it home and out of the 100rd I got him ,one was missing Yeah my old man and me are kinda polar opposites when it comes to guns and shooting. He'll shoot once in a blue moon at an ant hill or something , if he can shoot a coke can at .... Wherever he walks it out to he's happy and might bring them out during hunting season, and honestly think that's just his excuse to get out the house and walk around . Doesn't like to really adjust things or get super into the weeds. If it hits close enough and works kinda ok he's happy. Annnnd y'all know me lol. But hay love him regardless. Anyhow too it out to 35 to at least zero it and see what the different ammo did and honestly I quite enjoyed it . Don't think I'd mind having one but for the price of ammo...I think I'd be happier with the .22hornet because I can reload it and tailor the round more. Will say though want very pleased with the Winchester ammo. Out of the first then shots only three fired first time. Rest I had to shoot again to them to go off Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
I run 30g Hornady V-Max in mine almost exclusively now, did extensive testing in the early days and this gives me excellent accuracy and overall performance. Strangely my last WMR (Both have been CZ) loved the CCI Maxi Mag HP-V, but not my latest! Few of the part boxes I still have left. Quote Link to post
philpot 5,032
In my Sako WMR I also found the Hornady V-Max to be the best grouping. Same with CZ 455 WMR Varmint I used to own. Phil Quote Link to post
