Never known a year with so many deer about tbh .My fault but there tis .

Managed a few yesterday including one riddled with tb that the farmers going to incinerate .

Here’s the tb doe for those wondering what tb looks like in deer .Seen quite a few times here over the years and made the mistake of opening the first to see what was going on Stank real bad and all organs yellow .Nodes all swollen and pussey .

Have you advised the duty vet at your local animal health office as Tb is a notifiable disease.

It is mate but …

would you do it because it shuts down the whole farm same as a reactor in tb testing .Farmer would not thank me for that I can tell you .

Tb in deer is not like badgers where they are vectors .Deer get it and die from it .The rest of the population there are very healthy .

Better to just deal with the carcass safely .
