Just to go one better than my mate SD here’s two daylight foxes shot from a seat while back with a shotgun .First one nearly climbed the ladder .Both one shot kills as per norm

Just a thought, are you using, or have you tried, any lead free ammo yet?

Our first club shoot of the year is on Sunday, and one of our guys tells me he is bringing some to try!

I'm more than nervous about the stuff, but not tried any yet.

Rifle ammo ? I’m using copper in 30-06 mate .Yet to fully test as only bagged a roe doe thus far .Bought for the bigger stuff tbh .

Ive a bag of size 2 shot in lead to use before any ban Chris .

You remember that spot down by the railway I had mate where you did a few roe does and a nice non typical roe buck in spring .That’s the seat that I had overlooking the tree plantings .Just before I lost the ground to a local arsehole who’s paying for the stalking , I thought I’d sit in it with the shotgun as there’s always foxes in that planting area .

Called and one immediately ran from the far side out of view for a while then appeared to my right and came to within 1 m of the seat .Shot it running away .Next was a fox I could see over the railway line and two fields away .Squeaked proper loud and he disappeared to appear to the left where you shot that muntie .Bagged him before he had chance to turn and run .Seats somewhere else now mate .All that patch is lost to me to the twat paying 2/12 grand a year ffs .

Hes stalking the whole valley for that mind .Nice place but I ain’t paying for any stalking anytime soon .

I know exactly where you mean , think I shot a fox in that planting too. Shame to lose a cracking  bit of ground, always loved it there.

Ah yes with conjunctivitis. 

I shot 2 Cubs once with 1 shot too , totally unintentional.
