Popular Post terryd 8,528
So far going to plan and her biggest issue is she loves people but of all the vices I will take that one. Absolute character and I often find my self just laughing at her. I some times eat an apple on our walks and when she’s not looking lob core in the hedge. I noticed few times she would suddenly be walking along eating an apple core. I thought hang on I threw that way back. The other night sure enough she was busy 30 yards ahead so I threw core in hedge and forgot about it. Ten minutes later there she is munching on a core. Never even saw her go back. Cracks me up. We were out the other night rabbits every where when you don’t need them. I didn’t slip only eight months so no rush. We were just mooching about. Heading back to the van sure enough rabbit right in front of us . Nice tight hedge and flat field short grass so sod it I let her have crack. Few turns and her first in the bag. No retrieve but plenty of time. She just held it with her feet. Since that now her drive has gone through roof and hunting a treat so future is bright for next season. Should got one these crosses long time ago. Play full sod mind none stop unless there’s scent but I keep cool head and we get along fine. No problem with cover she don’t care Edited February 25, 2023 by terryd 20 Quote Link to post
