bleeding tail

Sorry to hear about this, although I think we will be hearing more and more of it. Dont suppose you have a pic of it bledding do you, that I could show the "do gooders" that think the docking ban was a good idea?

 

the "do gooders" don't give a damn about the dogs IMPO, they just want to create more problems and make it harder for us to work our dogs.

ill find out how to post pics and show u she has no fur on about an inch and a half from the end of her tail just raw skin if u dock a mature dogs tail would it impare ther balance at all

it will effect the dog and yerself the dog will be in a lot of pain and discomfort ,the most important thing will to keep the dog away from licking it.I enclose of a couple of pics before and after

One of my springers had her tail amputated last easter, she had come to me as a rehome so I had not been too bothered about her having a tail as she was never going to be used to work ... She started damaging mildly for about 6 months then one day took her to the beach and she ruined it in the dunes!! Luckily for me she was off to be speyed a few days after that incident so they did her tail at the same time.

 

Took a month of crate rest and lead walks before it was all healed.
