alimac 882 Posted January 29, 2008 Report Share Posted January 29, 2008 Just thought that there would have been a thread by now on someone exploits on there keepers days, so thought id kick it off was out beating on friday for a keepers day, they shot 174, things swapped around for the sat, we shot 146... my place had ours yeasterday shooting 105.. and out again today on another estate getting 68 head, weather was sleety all day, real cold wet stuff, but still a good day out.. so just another 3 to go, tomorrow should be a good one, as should thursday, but friday could well be single figures its making all the days out beating worth it now so what yous been up too Quote Link to post

v-max 2 Posted January 30, 2008 Report Share Posted January 30, 2008 Hello was out Monday but it finished early for me as the drive after lunch i was standing.At end of drive i had 6 cock pheasants down & 3 yet to pick after 5min or so i walked back down to the motors to find they had left to go to another drive without me.I had about 1mile to walk to my motor up hill so i headed back with no ideas to where they were so left for home.I sent a text at night to headkeeper & still no replie & i could have triped & shot myself & still be down there.In all my years this is a first & says it all to there experiance end of.I was out today for the syndicate day it beat & we finshed with 126 head with 14woodcock & i had 4 of them & that was my aim to get a woodcock for my season as i love shooting them & have my last day on friday.
