nothing better then out in the country walking with the dogs when things are on your mind helped me threw some bad times ?

Must admit i read posts like Francies posts above and others and while i wholeheartedly agree with the content it amazes me that so few people are actually willing to stand up and address why this is

Lol... Fella no one's giving up. Just it's 2023 I've been defending terrier work at the top in Ireland for over 10 years... I still hunt at least twice a week... But what is happening is a major

Going on the recent by elections it certainly looks like the next government is going to be Labour they will hammer the mounted packs who supposedly hunt with in the law but I honestly believe they would not dare attack fishing in the same way as they have done with hunting with dogs.

I remember hunting folk saying exactly the same thing about mounted packs

I don't think banning fishing is anything they will even suggest....but death by a thousand cuts comes very quickly.

Shooting won't be banned, but a stop on wildfowling and releasing pheasants will come quickly given the issues with bird flu. It will be brought in as a temporary measure....but after just one season, never mind two or three, how many keepers would remain?

Look at any article in the news about a big fish capture and the letters are three quarters plus of comments saying how cruel it is. This might just be from a tiny number of armchair warriors but they soon get heard.

Imagine a few photos showing fish floating after the weigh in at a big match....it only takes a few of those and suddenly schools are pressured into stopping fishing clubs etc. Charities stop accepting donations from fishing matches, companies stop offering sponsorship.

Remember Nigel farage catching a tope.....the headlines said 'farage drags in rare shark species for fun'
