Yes true mate I meant if I give them money instead to buy a house. Yup the trust is the way to go

Forget the money mate you can gift that as DC said .Put the house in trust with your kids as trustees .It’s a long drawn out process but well worth it .Do not name your kids spouses though for reason you’ve said .

How have you been ripped off mate

Well you can' t claim for a  new vehicle or new tools. Or fuel or work clothes etc under PAYE. But you still have the same outgoings.

One of my kids had a friend he'd grown up with. They both went to uni together. His dad was literally a  multimillionaire, a farmer. His lad got a full grant courtesy of a creative accountant. My lad got next to nowt even though I  earned a fraction of the farmer.

Under paye mate ,you should be bought all you need to do the job by your employer ,if not it should be in writing those materials are covered in your pay packet that should structured around that fact .

Im afraid the haves and have nots will alway be the case but it’s nothing to do with employed or self employed .

Lads who work for me on PAYE get vehicle, fuel paid, all clothes, boots, PPE etc.

Same as a few of my mates firms...

Plus 28 days paid holiday, sick pay etc..

Running a business ain't for everyone, the same as being employed ain't for everyone..  but if your good at your job, reliable etc you get perks as boss or employee

The fuel is a killer but has to be passed on .

For me it’s about freedom to do what I want ,when I want, how I want .

We have always followed under both tory and Labour governments the idea that low taxation is good. We tend to copy America, the land of low taxation and little government  interference.(Allegedly)

I notice now though, that even the tories are advocating the fact that people should pay more tax because public services are on the bones of their arses.

I read some figures recently which showed the UK's NHS is underfunded compared to all other comparative countries and that patients' outcomes are suffering as a result. Education, housing, transport social care are all underfunded and we, the people, suffer as a result.

Personally the government   could double my tax tomorrow as long as they spent it on core services. I'm fed up of living in  what often feels like a third world country when in fact we are one of the wealthiest.

The problem is getting the big boys to cough up. Politicians seem to be in position to protect the elites money. Something needs to give.

why should we do the c**ts can send billions more to shitty ukraine
