MikeTheDog 153
You're welcome Daz. like I say, get a decent camera and load a good photo/editing programme on your PC. It's always difficult to judge what's in a dog just by looking at it imo. I can't remember the details but some years back, a century or so, some guy introduced bull terrier into the greyhounds make up to spice things up a little. And that apparently is where the brindle comes from, so technically you do have some bull in your dog A strong wide chest could give some indication of bull in the ancestry. This bitch is grey/whippet/collie although I suspect the whippet was a hardblood type, who can be sure unless you trace the three ingredients back through their lines. Quote Link to post

Guest baldie
I can see bull blood...look at the squareness of its snout, from the side.Has it got a "sprung rib" on either side? usually a sign of bull blood. The dilution is small i grant you, but there is more sign of bull blood there, than saluki, in fact the only sign at all, of possible saluki, is just a slight feathering on the tail. There is nothing in its face/head, that says saluki to me? Mike, it was lord Orford i think, that introduced bull blood, but it was over 200 years ago i beieve. Quote Link to post
