Popular Post Luckee legs 464
Sorting through my mums house we came across pictures of my first lurcher, 1979 so I gave the pup an of the era name "toyah" . We had terriers and ferrets but this bitch was a game changer for mooching. Lurcher to lurcher cross, she was a dream to work although in part I put that down to the time one can devote at 17 when the world is yet to discover current electronic distraction. She was insanely committed to catching game, near miss accidents were frequent and sadly a tree collision was her undoing. Despite the look of her white beard she didn't make 3 years. Ever since i am not a fan of do or die dogs, better to miss the odd one but die with old bones IMO These pictures will have been taken on a Kodak instamatic, so frankly a miracle when prints turned out in focus and properly exposed. Ive got a couple more only, with a hare, jumping a gate but that's it. Who else has got pre mobile phone era photos? 32 Quote Link to post

Superb, pretty sure I went to that Lambourn. There was a short but bloody prize fight at the bottom of the hill? Some good racing and decent beer tent. Heady days 3 Quote Link to post
Popular Post white van man 3,300
First rabbit me and my mate ever caught on the lamp. We were about 14 and allowed to take his old mans dog out by ourselves. We used to walk miles. I still know the exact spot we caught it. We thought we were heroes returning with that!! 23 1 1 Quote Link to post
