Gigs this year

Not been to a gig or a concert for years and doubt I will again though been to some great concerts over the years glad I managed to see Pink Floyd twice especially the one at Earls Court in 1980 The Wall concert.

Not been for years myself mate but used to love live music, from a pub to a festival.

I’ve seen The Who, Motörhead, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters a couple of times, Muse, Weller, Bad Manners, Madness loads of times, Morchiba, David Gray (the wife’s choice !) , Toploader, Blue Tones, Wheatus to name but a few, the absolute best I ever seen was Neil Young & Crazy Horse……mind blowing ! 
Id personally love to do Tomorrowland before I croak but I can’t see that happening…..never know

Talking of gigs got the week off and with the weather being crap sorted a cubby hole out in the spare bedroom and found these in a biscuit tin along with a load of old wage slips from the pit.

Brill that mate! You did right keeping hold of them. Great to look back on and have a little reminisce about good times. I've got pretty much all my old gig stubs and also a few from some of the big footy games I went to. None going as far back as '77 though, I was only 1 then! Lol.. I might did them out on one of shitty winter days ahead just for a laugh!

Found some right stuff in two suitcases that had not been opened for over 20 years one that's full of vynal albums and singles and found a card from the 91 Waterloo cup i went to. Lol

In Bristol, watching Wunderhorse tonight, this band is worth a listen lads, quite an old fashioned/raw sound for a young band... With my youngest she got me into them ..
