Biothane compared to leather

Any one have any experience with biothane leads ....I'm considering buying a few ,...I have 3 round leather leads I find excellent ,and a quality leather lead a member made for me for road walking ,but for convenience and pocket storage I was looking into biothane ,any opinions on the matter

Brilliant stuff mate try get 2.5 mm thickness they will last a life time if they have qualify fixings or braided fishing line stitching I did sell them but long gone now I still do the lurchers collars

Thanks,I see a company selling rolls of it and the fittings ,so I might attempt to make my own,...I'm looking into the rope type biothane as opposed to the flat band style

Collars are great.

all mine wear em…..not over fond on the leads

strong stuff for the leads IMO

I want unobtrusive leads,that you can ball into a pocket,I try carry as little as possible,a knife,a hiking pole and leads,...the collars are sorted,

Aye it’s all preferance.

I found mine a bit sharp round ‘handle’ bit of lead .

still use em…. I’ve bought em so I won’t waste em.

Ah….. mine are flat with traditional trigger clasp.

I use the flat band collars on my labs they do the job not used the leads as they are not on them much

I still have the two collars I bought from you about 10 yrs ago and they are still going strong
