Was more curious if anyone had seen a cross like this before Seen a couple of deer/bull/grey x whip/grey, and they were good dogs. But no, not seen any with pure whippet as a parent. Look very nice. As I said, be nice to see how these develope. Quote Link to post

Nah, seriously though, I'd definitely take one of those pups on, 'IF' I didn't have my youngest son, who's now almost 22 months old, and taking up a lot of my time and energy. Cracking looking litter, as far as we can see yet lol, and I really like the sound of the breeding, even if it was an accident. Could be a very useful type. Quote Link to post
paulus 26
Third up from the bottom would be the one that i would have chosen even at this early stage, should make useful dogs. Quote Link to post

Some times accidental matings can produce outstanding lurchers and in some cases the mating then can't be repeated like in the case of this litter which i would love to take a chance on one. 1 Quote Link to post

Yep, exactly. Would love to take one on, but have other priorities. Quote Link to post
jukel123 8,821
Bet if this litter was planned you could try all day to get a tie and then have to give up because of the size difference. But mother nature will often find a way. 2 Quote Link to post

Remember my cousin's whippet bitch getting out when in season and the spaniel collie dog that we would take rabbiting that was always on the street nailing her and some of the resulting pups that he sold for 50pence making cracking mooching dogs this was about 1972. lol 2 1 Quote Link to post

I wish I could have one and give it plenty of work but unfortunately time is an issue now. 2 Quote Link to post
