Honestly if you have common sense for the most part it's not bad. Was at the trapping convention and asked my buggy who has a few kids about it. Guy calls his five year old over and says " what did daddy teach you about gators ?" Kid says " if it looks like a gator might be around don't go f***ing with it or he'll eat my ass " ???

I mean shit that's what my parents did with me. Would walk all round hell half acre with a bb gun and no supervision. Dad showed me pictures of various venomous snakes and the like and would just say " aight ya dumb ass gets but by one of these you ain't gonna make it back to the house ,ya ass is gonna die ,and we'll probably find you with the help of some buzzards, so pay attention " ?

Was your dad a hunting, shooting and fishing type of person like you or did you pick it up yourself?

Gators tastes like fishy chicken don’t they??? Fukin horrid. What else do you hunt, crocs, pigs, turtles???? See a YouTube vid about sand crane shooting looked great

It's pretty damn good if done right. But yeah chicken with a bit of a fish taste is the best way to describe it. Haven't don't much hunting lately but hogs, coon, coyotes, red and grey fox, dove, pigeon, crows, starlings ,haven't killed a deer yet but they don't really interested me very much for some reason. Trap  a few different varieties of turtles.  Run coon dogs with my buddy. Hog dogs a few times..still need to get one with some deer and rabbit dog guys that seems fun. Got some freinds heavy I to water fowl , ducks, geese, and the like but somthing about standing waster deep in a swamp in the dead of winter .....eh

But compared to alot of my friends I don't do much at all. Really just trying to get a new job right now so I can hear up the way I want. New truck ,thermal better gear ect...

Sometimes I think drugs and hookers would be a cheaper hobby then the outdoors ??

??not much then ffs, I’d love to run dogs on them pigs or shoot em, been a hunt I must do before I’m put  in the ground.yup your right huntings a expensive hobby for sure. We don’t spend madly on hunting here , my lad shoots once the guns are paid for it’s a reasonably priced hobby.

Just don't let your woman get interested..... Get your girlfriend into shooting they said. It's great they said..... Just dropped probably $600 on a .22lr setup for her Christmas present and she's burned though about $40 of ammo so far ??

I'm just hoping she says content with targets because I don't make enough for a taxidermist ??

Depending on the door design he could have just pushed their way in pretty easy.  Rooter style doors arent really locked like say a guillotine door. ALOT of people like them because one their triggered more hogs can just push their way in but not out

Rooter door bing the one on the right

That being said..... A gator that size could probably bite a hole in a cage like like if it really wanted to

The design reminds me of a Harry Houdini escape. Houdini once had himself locked into a huge, walk_ in safe. It was the most sophisticated safe available. After a few hours he emerged, soaked in sweat and was given huge applause.

What he didn't tell the audience,  was that to get out, he simply used the inside door handle. The inside door handle was designed to let out anybody who accidentally locked themselves in to get out again. The security aspects of the safe were to stop people getting into the safe. Not the other way round.
