WILF 46,608
Just now, Dutch said: We’ve played Arsenal 3 times this year and beat them twice though mate? We’ve also beat Chelsea, Tottenham, Man Utd, got 4 points of Brighton and a draw with Newcastle. That’s a good return and proof his style can be effective Ignoring the worldie from Rice they were fcuk ups - 2 set plays, penalty etc. Even the best get spanked - in recent years Leicester have put 5 and Everton 4 against Guardiola, Villa put 7 past Klopp’s Liverpool. When you at Moyes reign, he’s done a solid job. i think you have to be careful what you wish for and i don’t see an alternative if we want to be a top half club challenging for Europe Look at Potter and Poch at Chelsea - it’s difficult to implement that attractive style of football when you don’t have top players You don’t have to play football like Moyes to achieve the same results….you just don’t He is living on nicks and when a couple of players who can deliver those nicks are out then he hasn’t got a clue because it’s not in his nature, he is one dimensional. Even the final, people are over the moon and rightfully so but let’s tell the truth, we got the shit kicked out of us the whole game (like we did in so many games in Europe last season) and won it with a nick…..until Bowen won it Moyes looked like a man in need of a life raft. But defensive f**k ups ?…..David Moyes is regarded as one of the preeminent defensive coaches in England, these are his players, he has coached them 5 days a week for 2 years at least. This is all they do, but 9 players just decided to have an off day ?……don’t be silly chief, they could play these shapes in their sleep. Anyway, promised I wasn’t going to get drawn into talking about the hammers with you so that’s that mate. Yes of course its defensive f**k ups and an off day.....we have been defensively sound most of the time and the other day we wasnt, how is that David Moyse fault.....how is it David Moyse fault that Zouma didnt jump,Aguerd didnt mark or Soucek didnt track back ? you've played the game,if you dont do your job is that the coaches fault ? I dont like the way Tyson Fury fights, infact i hate it.....but i accept its effective.......if he doesnt perform the way he should do i blame his coach ....i think you're the one being silly.....infact i dont even think you are being silly i think you are just hiding and trying to cover up the bad choice you made in the first place. " drawn in to talking about the Hammers with you "....come on mate we both wear long trousers if you was still around Hammers fans you'd be having these chats every day. Again, you are hiding mate....is Dave Allen the same as Tyson Fury.....no,but they have the same ugly win at all costs mentality.......a mentality that you seem to have decided is no longer important since David Moyse arrival. It’s not a win at all cost mentality though is it, it’s a try not to get beat and hope mentality…..that’s exactly what it is. So, no mate, it’s not the same thing in the slightest. No, I made the right choice, the reality choice. Putting David Moyes in that stadium, with some of those players, with that support, in that city, with that brand that we now have is literally putting a silk hat on a pig ! When we go out of the European competition he is toast ! 1 hour ago, gnasher16 said: " drawn in to talking about the Hammers with you "....come on mate we both wear long trousers if you was still around Hammers fans you'd be having these chats every day. And that’s why I am being polite and responding here because I like and respect you mate, but the reality is we won’t agree so it’s all a bit pointless……in fact we don’t even have to agree, I get why loads of you like it and I’m fine with it. However, I can’t see a bloke with Steidjans background wanting this to continue, there’s no future in Moyes type of Football……either an exit from Europe with the league safety in the bag (depending on wether another European place is still possible) or end of the season will see him gone…..and these little interesting chats will have to be about something else ! Lol Hopefully something to get a bit more excited about.

I think he will go when his contract expires and not before regardless of results but who would you like to see in charge because you have a squad who's skills mostly rely of playing a certain way Edited February 14 by Blackmag

Paqueta won’t stay and play this shit, he is way too good for this…..but who knows, with someone who is willing to play a style that gives him the ball more I hope he does. Bowen will, he suits us and I get the feeling he is happy…. Kudus is again a player who would thrive under a more front foot style I think we have the genuine bones of a team to play better football, we have a great squad and in different hands I think they could play some real nice stuff. I’d have said for ages I’d like to think right outside the box and get a coach like Pep Linjders who is Klopps right hand man. He has headed a team briefly in Holland short term, he is the man responsible in no small part for how Liverpool play and he is young……his whole culture is high tempo, aggressive football. Wouldn’t be instant mind you, it will take a while to shake off the curse of how Dave plays. Bowen looks like he could do with shifting a stone for a start and my guess if you got a Linjders type of football coach is that conditioning that squad to required fitness levels would be the big task. All that said, probably end up with Big Sam ! Lol
