The way we've treated Moyse is f****n disgusting....im not against a new manager it probably is the right time but theres ways of doing things and the man deserves respect and a good send off yet we'v

West Ham fans in town all day and not a murmur until wives/families get attacked by " ultras " at the game itself.....embarrassing !! There was a handful of chaps on each stairwell stopping them

My Hammers will struggle this year ,some fans want Moyse gone but personally i cant see the point we have a manager thats proved he can improve the club, owners willing to throw money at it.....at what

charpolski, calling Wilson a liability is bit disrespectful. If he did not have injury problems Newcastle could never have bought him for £20M. If he had not came to Newcastle I doubt that the club would have hung on in the EPL and possibly would not have been bought buy the new owners. I understand what your saying but, when it comes to actually winning something in my life, Wilson could prove to have been a more important number 9 than Shearer. And he will continue to contribute, I would not swap him for anyone, injury prone or not.

So you think he should be our number one striker? He has proved to be very good when available, but there's a reason he's miles behind Kane in the England set up....Kane is usually available to play, Wilson isn't, as will be proved this coming international break. If that's your opinion, I can respect it but not agree with it.

As for proving to be more important than Shearer........well. I'll just drop out the conversation now.

Anything I say is just my opinion, I'm just a fan, not an expert, but how can it be disrespectful to state the obvious ?

Cheers.

The current situation that Newcastle find themselves in is interesting. I think that Howe is in a unique situation. He was always on a probational contract, but he is more than proving his worth. Has made the new signings work and made silk purses out of existing sow's ears. Now, with everyone being sympathetic, he is blooding young academy products, a luxury that no other top flight manager would be allowed to do. Interesting to see how it will pan out and if even moderately successful could make owners of other clubs look within rather than open the cheque book.

Eastcoast  you are being a silly Billy stating Wilson is as important to Newcastle as Shearer was. That's just baffling mate.

Shearer won nothing at Newcastle. He could have won it all elsewhere, but chose to play for us. I love Shearer.

I don't dispute that. I don't think we will ever see that home town loyalty ever again. Top man. Top professional. Top goal scorer. That's why I think comparing a journeyman with an absolute maestro is daft. However I've lauded you f****n Geordie  b*****ds too much. I'm off to bed to say my prayers. Top of which will be a prayer to Jesus to get rid of the Glazers. For the yanks to offer supporters their shares at a reduced rate and for us all to live happily ever after. Amen.

Just watched Chelsea city game what a cracking game really enjoyed it Chelsea are beginning to look a different team under  pochettino

Brilliant game!

I thought Sterlin was outstanding, winning the ball back all over the pitch and then playing forwards everytime, best I've seen him play in a very long time... Cole Palmer is another real English talent, we must have the best group of young players in the world right now, whether we win anything or not is another story, but what a group ti choose from..

Newcastles Livramenko looks like he will make the grade.

Evidently he qualifies to play to Scotland and Portugal but has chosen England.

Im not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that he will be Trippiers understudy for the next few seasons.

Cheers.

Yes sterling had a brilliant night I thought Reece James had a good game to coming back from injury maybe a point to prove about being dropped from the England squad  as you say buddy surely this group as to win something not to do so would be a waste
