Great story mate, nice to know you still hold the grudge!! Lol

Robson was brilliant wasn't he, epitome of box to box.... I know Keane based a lot of his game on what he learnt from Robbo... shame for Robbo his career was coming to an end as Fergie started to get it right..

Definitely, my sons were great fans. This has nothing to do with ability, but one of my lads was in hospital and I wrote to Robbo and asked him to sign a get well card. He returned the card within 3 days with a personal message from himself and signed by most of the squad. Top bloke.

The way we've treated Moyse is f****n disgusting....im not against a new manager it probably is the right time but theres ways of doing things and the man deserves respect and a good send off yet we'v

West Ham fans in town all day and not a murmur until wives/families get attacked by " ultras " at the game itself.....embarrassing !! There was a handful of chaps on each stairwell stopping them

My Hammers will struggle this year ,some fans want Moyse gone but personally i cant see the point we have a manager thats proved he can improve the club, owners willing to throw money at it.....at what

I can remember having my eyes opened to dirty play at Old Trafford in the mid to late fifties. We had a forward by the name of Pearson. He went by the nickname 'Pancho'  because he had  a dark complexion and sideburns like  a Mexican.

I was chewing on my first woodbine and coughing like f**k when Pancho had a bit of verbal with the big lad marking him. A high ball came sailing over and the defender headed it away but not before Pancho cynically backwards nutted him. The defender retaliated with a short punch into the kidneys out off sight of the ref. Pancho, not to be outdone, grabbed the fella by the balls and squeezed. I saw him do that twice that day. On  both occasions he hid it from the ref. Must have been Vinnie Jones's role model.Lol

Sadly he died at the beginning of the month and the mate I was with on the terraces phoned me with the news. Over 60 years later the thing we remember is Pancho's ball crunching Lol

God forgive me for getting involved in a man Utd love fest ..but Dennis Irwin was the player I admired most .

First player on Fergies team sheet according to Fergie and Roy Keane's favourite team mate. He was Mr reliable for sure. A big favourite of mine too. We bought him for next to nothing from Oldham I think. Good eye for goal too for a defender.

Yeah I remember him at Leeds we played them in one of his first games you could clearly see then he was a cut above anything on the pitch and he was still only a kid then I think scholes who i think was the best midfielder in his position this country has produced he had it all would be a close second

I think essien was the other midfielder in that team, strong player as well... that spine with Terry and Drogba included were massive...

A hugely underrated player imho , the master of killing space with anticipation, massive engine , his tackling was often ferocious , he could genuinely battle in that 60yd area all day

 Very decent shout that mate.

I’d go:

Ronaldo Nazario & Henry up front

Zidane & Scholes in the middle

ronaldo & Beckham left and right

Maldini LB…..has to be

Staam & Terry CB

Zanetti RB

Kahn GK

Subs:

Di Canio, Ashley Cole, Battistuta, Keane, Dicks, Ferdinand, Edison
