I was pretty happy to see Utd win that, imho they ruined City yesterday…..I don’t think one player had a bad game.

Im not a fan of low block football (don’t think I have ever mentioned that before ? Lol ) but the way they executed that game plan yesterday was good to watch, every single player gave everything.

Doku and Bissaka’s match up was brilliant to watch but it was happening all over the pitch, that young Mainoo can play and him and Fernandez were quality on the ball, Amrabat was just doing ugly everywhere, speed of the counter and the grit of those young forwards was brilliant……City couldn’t deal with it.

I thought that Gvardiol was shite, how the f**k is Grealish 3rd choice it seems behind him ?

Really enjoyed it.

The way we've treated Moyse is f****n disgusting....im not against a new manager it probably is the right time but theres ways of doing things and the man deserves respect and a good send off yet we'v

West Ham fans in town all day and not a murmur until wives/families get attacked by " ultras " at the game itself.....embarrassing !! There was a handful of chaps on each stairwell stopping them

My Hammers will struggle this year ,some fans want Moyse gone but personally i cant see the point we have a manager thats proved he can improve the club, owners willing to throw money at it.....at what

Wan Bissaka is supposed to be surplus to requirements. But there aren't many defenders who can dispossess attacking players with such accurate timing as him. Not so good offensively but I would prefer he stayed.

Wouldn’t really know enough to comment on him mate, but yesterday he was good.

I think dalot has been a big player for utd recently and as put in some decent  shifts for the team as for grealish I think the role he now plays at city as restricted him massively to what he was at villa I wouldn't be surprised if he's not sold this summer

How do Madrid do it? Time after time they win. Some of the Madrid players have now won  it 6 times. Wait till they get Mbappe!

You can only applaud. They have something other teams don' t have. And it's not just brilliant players.

Just my opinion, but it may be what Man U had but have now lost; the “fear factor”.

Any team going up against Real Madrid may have a psychological disadvantage and not play with the confidence they would against other teams.

As I say, just my opinion.

At least my grandson will be happy, he called me to try and convince his mother to let him stay up to watch the game even though it’s a school day tomorrow, he will go to bed happy !

It’s details and margins mate….read what I’m about to write and then have a look next time you watch.

Its perfect first touch, the other team may have let’s say 50 perfect first touches, but Real will have 55.

Its a crisp pass from one players feet to another players feet, not half a yard right or left but directly to the foot he wants it on, again, the other team may do it 95 times out of a 100 but real will do 98 times, long or short.

It’s rondo practice after practice which can be seen in close control interchanges in tight spots and technique practice which you can see gives them supreme confidence in their ability to do these things.

And lastly it’s just a culture of excellence which gives the confidence to go out and play.
But the first two point are, imho, what really matters.
