Yes no stop start with that var nonsense it was like a training session at times but like you said earlier the gulf in class was clear to see I see trippier made Clarke look bad today did you see the team photo in front of the away end at the end charts I thought the old lad in the stand at the side of the away end was going to have a clucther at that

I honestly thought it was a great game, Sunderland hit the bar and Dubravka made one or two good saves, but the result was never in doubt, Newcastle were different class. None of the standing around waiting for VAR to give a decision, hard tackles going in, passion, ( did you see Bruno after making a tackle ?). As for the goals; if Ballard hadn’t put into his own goal, Isak was there for the tap in; the other goal was just a Championship player trying to mug off a Premier and International player and getting it badly wrong. The penalty ? Well Gordon was through on goal and if it had been earlier in the game Ballard would have been sent off but the ref was lenient ! We all see games differently, but I was happy with the result obviously ! Cheers.
Blackmag 6,067
I enjoyed the game I think safc fans were expecting a defeat but they wanted subs earlier .to be fair I thought Ballard had a decent game today I was expecting more from Clarke to be honest and there a young team but kept playing out from the back putting themselves under pressure against Newcastle pressing that new manager hasn't done himself any favours today with his after game comments credit to the ref I thought he let it try and flow like a derby game should be played good hard tackling Edited January 6 by Blackmag

I was talking to pals during the game and said the same thing. I don’t expect them just to lump it forward but they weren’t good enough to play that game against a Premier team full of internationals especially with Newcastle pressing and challenging every ball. f**k me ! I’m starting to talk like I know what I’m talking about…. I don’t, I’m just a supporter who enjoyed the game ! LOL ! Cheers.

He’s not a shabby player himself and played well before managing the local side to their local cup in York last year

NEWKID 27,143
Some game that.. De Bruyne off the bench was different class, but Newcastle played well without the ball and constantly dangerous on the break..shame Isak ran out of steam, as I thought he was brilliant for 70 minutes... some side this City team though..
