I would say Rio Ferdinand in his pomp. Only classier. He was a forerunner of the true ball playing defender. He just stood out so much. He was like an adult playing with kids. A genuine smooth but tough operator. A class above..a bit like me really.lol

The way we've treated Moyse is f****n disgusting....im not against a new manager it probably is the right time but theres ways of doing things and the man deserves respect and a good send off yet we'v

West Ham fans in town all day and not a murmur until wives/families get attacked by " ultras " at the game itself.....embarrassing !! There was a handful of chaps on each stairwell stopping them

My Hammers will struggle this year ,some fans want Moyse gone but personally i cant see the point we have a manager thats proved he can improve the club, owners willing to throw money at it.....at what

obviously of the time is a factor , but sounds like he was sone player , I’m a believer in from the horses mouth so to say he was world class ( a term that gets bandied around too much imho ) sounds like he made an impression

Going back to Bobby Moore. I described him as,imo, world class. And of course he was a world cup winner. Looking back now, nearly fifty years later, people will say that any half decent premier league club could beat that 66 England now because the game has improved so much. But he, again imo, transcended time and could shine now for any top Premier or la liga team .

No recognition of the silky skills of Trevor Hurlock? One of England's finest. Fair,  exemplary professional, a real role model. It was fitting he played for both Millwall and Glasgow Rangers Two teams with long, similar traditions in the way they played and with fans to match.

What about Gullit... you could play him anywhere in the pitch and he'd be the best player in his pomp... played sweeper one week, no 10 the next and as a winger the following...

No k e fancy Van Basten up front... surely that euro final volley  goal must be up with the best ever, he was a goal machine...

Whilst we're in Dutch... davids? Seedorf.. Bergkamp even?
